BECOMING A SPONSOR
Sunflower Sisters for Ukraine is a voluntary group of women who provide a wide range of practical and emotional support for Ukrainian refugees. One of the things we do is help them to find safe sponsors under the UK Homes for Ukraine scheme, and provide support and advice to both them and the sponsors while they navigate that process.
We focus on finding a match that works for both parties and do our best to help build the foundations of a rewarding partnership. Our group has helped place over 10,000 refugees with sponsors, yet we have so many more who are desperately asking for our help in a process that can be daunting and stressful in an already frightening situation.
Maybe you’ve registered for the scheme and been waiting patiently for the government to match you, or you’re seeing the news coming from Ukraine and feel like now is the time for you to step forward. If you would like us to help you, or simply want to find out more about the process.
